The Workforce Center facilitates in finding good jobs for individuals and finding good employees for local businesses.

Some of our services are:

Hospitality 101: Through partnerships with College of the Redwoods and Southern Oregon Community College, our Hospitality Program provides certified training for hospitality workers and the hospitality industry.

Employee Recruitment and Training: We assist businesses in finding and keeping good employees and, we offer training to improve your current employee’s skills. If you lack training funds, dont hesitate to call us, we may be able to help! 

Business Critique: Fine tune your business. We can assist you in keeping your business on track.

Start Up Assistance: From idea to reality. We can help you create a business plan and offer solutions to overcome start up hurdles.

Free Job Referrals: You can come in and look at the job board on your own, then go get that job! Or, you can stay a few minutes and ask us how we can assist you in your job search.  It is your choice!

Free Career Coaching or Counseling: If you have a question or are not sure how to advance in your career, come in and talk with us. We may be able to help you.

Career Training: We have programs that can assist in training for your current job or a new job. Come in and talk with us.  You can make a better future for yourself and your family.

Work Experience: Many employers want experienced people.  We have apprenticeship programs, like our "Experience Works" Program that places workers over the age of 55 into jobs that suit their ability and skill levels.

Basic Computer Class: You may be very skilled at using computers and just need a little help, or maybe you don’t know how to turn a computer on!  We have programs that can help you learn more about using the computer and the internet.

Youth Programs: We have custom programs directed at older youth seeking careers, employment or training.
